Karmic Playground
In the Weaving Way, whether we recognize it or not, we are already playing the game of life. In every moment, the tapestry is weaving us even as we weave it. Every obstacle, opportunity, relationship exchange, thought, emotion, mundane chore, meaning given to a moment, and mystical experience shapes and designs the tapestry of the moment.
The Karmic Playground is a primary disposition: we understand that we are always already playing. We inherit games, choose games, refuse games, combine games, invent new games, and invite others to play. In every moment, we choose how we participate. Every choice has a consequence, and each consequence is a grace that reveals how we’ve chosen to play and gives us information about how we want to play in the future.
To be on the Karmic Playground is to play consciously. Sovereignty is recognizing that we are free to participate however we like, while engagement and disengagement actively shape the game we’re playing.
