Humility

« Back to Glossary Index

Humility is the structured receptivity that allows life to flow into and through us without resistance. It is the necessary prerequisite for receiving the grace of the consequences of our behaviors.

Humility is a foundational attitude of the Weaving Way and is characterized by:

  • willingness to be wrong
  • commitment to sincere transformation,
  • prioritizing accurate self-knowledge over self-image,
  • radical responsibility for the consequences of one’s behavior,
  • refusal to prematurely or inappropriately claim or accept attainment or authority.
