Common Practice is our Order’s regular, global schedule of practice. The primary purpose is to remain connected with our community and remember that we are living this way together.

Through these sessions, we find a regular way to come into integrity, coherence, order, and alignment (ICOA) to support our fundamental aim: to be evolutionary, eudaimonic, and sovereign in daily life.

There are two types of Common Practice: long form and short form.

Long Form Schedule:

  • Arrival and Intuitive Movement (~5 min)
    • Some casual conversation while we loosen up and come into our bodies for our embodiment practice.
  • Informal Embodiment (~30 min)
    • A period of time bringing the body, heart, and mind together in support of ICOA.
  • Contemplation/Meditation (~40 min)
    • A period of silent or semi-guided contemplation/meditation.
  • Bio-break (~5 min)
  • Liturgy (~2 min)
    • A brief set of statements that remind us of how we’ve chosen to live and the core principles of the Weaving Way.
  • Discussion (~40 min)
    • An organic dialogue exploring how we live the Weaving Way.

Short Form Schedule:

  • What is (1 min)
    • Each participant names one thing that IS, right now.
  • Contemplation (2 min)
    • A moment of silence focused on the beauty of the Way unfolding, right here, right now.
  • Meditation (2 min)
    • A core statement of the Weaving Way teachings is offered and meditated upon.
  • Reflection (5 min)
    • Each person is invited to share a fruit of their meditation.
  • Invitation (2 min)
    • A period of silence where we reflect on how we will concretely integrate our reflection into our day.
  • Inspiration (3 min)
    • Participants are invited to share the invitation to sovereignty and eudaimonia they gave themselves, inspiring others.
  • Blessing
    • We depart with a blessing to Weave the Way.

May the light of your North Star shine brightly.
May you be in Integrity with Love.
May Humility in Grace bring you coherence, order, and alignment.
May you realize eudaimonia in sovereignty and bring flourishing into the world.
